Chairperson

The Chairperson is the chief administrative authority of the Municipality and provides leadership for the development activities and administrative functions of the Municipality.

Vice Chairperson

The Vice Chairperson assists in the administrative activities of the Municipality and performs administrative duties in the absence of the Chairperson.

Standing Committees

Standing Committees are responsible for overseeing development, finance, health, welfare, public works, and education activities of the Municipality.

Development Standing Committee

Implements development projects of the Municipality, with a focus on public welfare and basic infrastructure development.

Finance Standing Committee

The Finance Standing Committee is responsible for managing the revenue and expenditure of the Municipality.

Health Standing Committee

Responsible for overseeing public health, sanitation, waste management, and hygiene-related activities of the Municipality.

Welfare Standing Committee

Implements public welfare programmes and focuses on social security, poverty alleviation, and welfare activities.

Public Works Committee

Executes civic infrastructure development, municipal asset maintenance, roads, and town development projects.

Education & Sports Committee

Oversees municipal educational infrastructure, youth affairs, sports encouragement, and local cultural initiatives.

Municipal Secretary

Assistant Secretary

Assists in the administrative and office activities of the Municipality. Coordinates section functions and administrative implementation.

Revenue Inspector / Superintendent

Supervises day-to-day office activities, revenue collection, tax registers, and administrative supervision of section files.

Accountant

Responsible for managing financial transactions and accounts. Maintains income and expenditure records, budget, and tax files.

Engineering Wing

Head of municipal civil works, overseers, project approvals, infrastructure maintenance, and technical layout implementation.

Health & Sanitation Section

Supervises vector control, public hygiene inspections, solid waste management systems, and trade license processing.

Secretarial & Clerical Staff

Handles files and records of the Municipality. Manages tax collection, public service applications, and ward-level responsibilities.
