Erattupetta Municipality Ward Delimitation (2025)

The Delimitation Commission, Kerala, through its final order dated 26 May 2025, reorganized and demarcated the electoral wards of the Erattupetta Municipality in Kottayam District. The municipality has been divided into 29 wards for local body elections, with ward boundaries defined based on geographical features, roads, canals, water bodies, settlements, and administrative boundaries. The reorganization aims to ensure balanced representation by maintaining relatively uniform population distribution among wards while preserving local community identities and administrative convenience.
